Akemi Suzuki is a partner of Nagashima, Ohno & Tsunematsu. Ms.Suzuki practices corporate and securities law, concentrating on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She has represented numerous public and private companies in complex commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, corporate reorganizations, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures and equity and debt financings. Ms.Suzuki also has extensive experience advising clients on various corporate governance matters as well as disclosure and compliance issues.

Ms.Suzuki has worked with both Japanese and foreign companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, Internet, media, communications and consumer products, and has experience in cross-border transactions in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.

Ms.Suzuki received an LL.B. from Keio University in 1999 and an LL.M. from Stanford Law School in 2006.
