Biography

Hiroyasu Watanabe is an advisor at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He is a Professor of Tax Law, Graduate School of Finance, Accounting & Law, Waseda University. He concurrently serves as a Special Advisor to the Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance.
He graduated with an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo in 1969 and with an MPA from Princeton University in 1973. He is the former Commissioner (Head) of the National Tax Agency.
