Kensuke Suzuki is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He represents both domestic and international clients, with a special focus on cross-border transaction, with respect to financial regulation (including securities, asset management and investment fund regulation), fund formation and management, M&A and corporate transactions, and pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare business.

He is a graduate of the University of Tokyo (LL.B., 1999) and Stanford Law School (LL.M., 2006). He was admitted to the Japan Bar in 2000 and worked as visiting attorney at Kirkland & Ellis (Chicago) from 2006 to 2007. He also worked at the Financial Services Agency of Japan from 2007 to 2009, where he worked on various Japanese financial regulation reforms. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
