

Makoto Ito is a special advisor at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He supports the firm by providing an academic viewpoint primarily in the fields of civil procedure, bankruptcy and business rehabilitation.
He graduated with an LL.B. from The University of Tokyo in 1967, then served as a Professor at Hitotsubashi University from 1985 to1993, the University of Tokyo from 1993 to 2007 and Waseda University from 2007 to present. He was admitted to practice law in Japan in 2007.
