Minoru Ota is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. Mr. Ota was admitted to the bar in Japan in 1987. His practice encompasses specializations in commercial banking, corporate finance, multinational transactions, compliance and carbon trading under the Kyoto Protocol. He frequently assists his clients, who include both leading financial institutions and enterprises based in Japan and abroad, in structuring and negotiating complex financing as well as in the planning and execution of investment and operational goals in Japan. In addition to his private sector clients, Mr. Ota also advises various ministries and branches of the Government of Japan on their commercial transactions and on drafting of legislation and regulations.
