

Toshio Kobayashi is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He advises widely about legal matters in relation to corporate finance focusing on the fund-raising issues in the capital market. He is also engaged in general corporate matters, especially intellectual property issues.
He graduated with an LL.B. from Kyoto University in 1974 and he was admitted to practice law in Japan in 1980. He graduated with an LL.M. from the Harvard Law School in 1986 and worked at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York city as a visiting attorney from 1986 to 1987. He served as a lecturer at Kyoto University Graduate School of Law in 2006, and from 2007 to 2010, he served as a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics.
