Mr. Tomoyuki Yokota, a former Advisor to Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan. From 1972 to 2007, Mr. Yokota served as a Public Prosecutor at the Tokyo and Fukuoka High Public Prosecutors Offices and the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office, Superintendent Public Prosecutor at the Hiroshima High Public Prosecutors Office, and Deputy Prosecutor-General at the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office. In the course of his duties, he held prominent positions as a Director-General of the Rehabilitation Bureau and the Correction Bureau at the Ministry of Justice, and as a Senior Professor of the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court.
