Many Japanese companies have already expanded into Vietnam in search of an inexpensive and high-quality labor force, and for the purpose of avoiding the risk of overconcentration in China. Recently, there is an increasing trend for Japanese companies to target expansion into Vietnam’s domestic market, which has a population of 100 million, and the markets of neighboring countries. Further, an increase in investment from Japan is expected for projects related to Vietnam's current phase of development of its transportation system, energy and national infrastructure.
We have been providing a wide range of legal services on matters regarding business expansion into Vietnam, infrastructure projects, and investment, utilizing our office in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, as well as our networks with prominent local law firms, through the use of experience accumulated from transactions all over the world, including those in Vietnam.
