Yoshiya Kira is a counsel at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. His practice focuses on financial and securities-related regulations including the Japanese Basel rules, utilizing his knowledge and experience obtained throughout over 4 years of secondment to the Financial Services Agency.
He also advises on asset-based finance transactions including securitization, and real estate related matters including J-REITs and real estate funds.
He is a graduate of Tokyo University (LL.B., 2009) and worked for the Financial Services Agency (2015-2019). He has also been admitted to practice as an ARES (Association for Real Estate Securitization) Certified MASTER since 2014.
