Since the dawn of history of acquisition finance in Japan, we have provided legal services for LBOs, MBOs, mezzanine products (including corporate mezzanine), refinancings, recapitalization transactions, share financing and other various types of domestic and cross-border acquisition finance transactions and have handled a broad range of groundbreaking acquisition finance transactions in Japan. We provide high-quality legal services regarding all aspects of acquisition financing, including, but not limited to, structuring, drafting and negotiation of term sheets, commitment letters and relevant contracts, researching relevant foreign laws and regulations, and responding to a variety of needs in acquisition finance transactions, for our various clients, which include sponsors, senior lenders and mezzanine financers. In recent years, we have been actively involved in cross-border acquisition finance transactions for out-bound buyouts by Japanese clients, including drafting and negotiation of relevant contracts in English.
