Chambers Global Practice Guides Artificial Intelligence 2022 Japan – Law & Practice
VIEW MORE
As industry becomes more IT-driven and businesses expand via the Internet, legal issues related to these technologies are becoming increasingly complex. Against this background, we also actively advise on legal issues related to the Internet, IT services and cloud computing. Specifically, in addition to relatively traditionally industrial sectors such as systems and software development, games, apps, content streaming services, and social networking services (SNS), we are also heavily involved in cutting-edge industrial areas such as AI, IoT, and FinTech, as well as handling cybersecurity issues. In addition to providing specialized legal advice on legal issues arising from these business activities, we have put systems in place that enable us to quickly assemble teams with high levels of expertise and extensive experience in these businesses activities as well as cutting-edge technologies to provide legal services related to corporate/M&A, finance, real estate and dispute resolution that are required by companies engaged in these business activities.
