We have in the past been sent information that some person(s), using the name of an attorney at our office, committed bank transfer fraud by sending a fake invoice to a victim of a prior incident of fraud or by contacting someone about the repayment procedure for damages related to private equity.
Recently, we have newly confirmed a case in which someone has impersonated an attorney at our office on social media and sent out a request for work on a legal matter. Neither our office nor any attorney at our office made contact with anyone through social media about such matter.
If you receive any contact from an unknown person using the name of our office or an attorney from our office, do not respond immediately, but please fully confirm the identity of that person. In addition, we would greatly appreciate your informing us by using the following contact information:
