Tsutomu Kobayashi joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu on April 9, 2024, as a counsel.
Mr. Kobayashi has for many years been involved in the development and management of energy projects, including those related to solar power, onshore and offshore wind power, biomass, and other renewable energy power generation, as well as thermal independent power producers (IPPs). He has also been involved in infrastructure projects, including public finance initiatives (PFIs) and public-private partnerships (PPPs), and has expertise in project finance. Additionally, he has considerable knowledge and practical experience in finance based on his experience from working at a financial institution.
With the joining of Mr. Kobayashi, the firm strongly believes that its energy and infrastructure practice will be further enhanced.
