On Thursday, August 6, 2020, another member of our Tokyo office (Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku) was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
In response to this confirmed case of COVID-19, upon consulting with the relevant public health center, we identified and contacted those persons who had contact with the infected person and took the necessary measures such as instructing the infected person to self-quarantine at home. Furthermore, we disinfected the office floor where the infected person was working.
In addition, our lawyers and staff are mainly working from home. The infected person was last in the Office on August 1.
We will continue giving the highest priority to preventing the spread of infection both inside and outside the Office, and to ensuring the safety of our lawyers and staff, clients, and other stakeholders. We ask for the understanding of our clients and stakeholders.
