Yuichi utilizes his work experience at equity capital market division of a major investment bank. He handles a wide variety of capital market transactions, including IPOs, equity and debt primary/secondary follow-on offerings, third-party allotments, block trades and transactions of class shares, warrants, convertible bonds and security token offerings, in both domestic and international markets.
Yuichi also advises on sustainable finance and sustainability disclosure. He has been awarded as “Green Ambassador” by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific Green Guide 2024 and recognized for his strongest involvement with sustainability matters. In addition to his capital markets practice, he advises on financial regulations, M&A transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Yuichi worked at Thompson Hine LLP’s New York office in 2016 and SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. (Equity Capital Markets Divisions) from 2016 and 2017 as a secondment. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law (LL.M.), Osaka University (LL.B.) and Kyoto University Law School (J.D.).
