Hiroyuki Kanno joins Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu

Hiroyuki Kanno, a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan, joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu as a special advisor on August 3, 2022.

Mr. Kanno has served as a judge for 42 years since his appointment in 1980. Over the years, has served as the Chief Judge of the Mito District Court, a Presiding Judge of the Tokyo High Court, and the President of the Osaka High Court. He was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan in September 2016 and served in that capacity until July 2022.
