Hisaya Kimura

Hisaya Kimura specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration, principally in the areas of product liability, environmental torts, M&A disputes, securities, antitrust, employment and bankruptcy and reorganization. He also specializes in crisis management and the provision of advice to prevent legal disputes from arising. He has represented both Japanese and foreign clients in these areas of the law. In addition, he has counseled, in cooperation with foreign attorneys abroad, numerous Japanese companies, such as large banks and manufacturers, on litigation and arbitration abroad. His work on these types of cases includes providing assistance and advice on discovery matters conducted in Japan; for example, depositions and requests for document production.
