Tomohiro (“Tomo”) Koyasu is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. Tomo advises on a broad mix of matters, including acquisition finance and project finance transactions, energy and infrastructure development and acquisition projects, Japanese regulatory implications on commercial and corporate transactions, and various other complex and innovative transactions. Tomo represents a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, private equity sponsors, private companies and corporate borrowers.
He received his LL.B., graduating with outstanding honors distinction, from the University of Tokyo in 2011, and his LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2018. He worked at the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as an international associate in the firm’s banking and credit practice group from 2018 to 2019.
