Our Bangkok office (Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) was established in April 2014.
The Bangkok Office is headed by Shohei Sasaki, who has gained broad practical experience from working in a local law firm in Bangkok since 2011. The office is staffed by more than 20 experienced Thai lawyers, including partners who are highly regarded across various practice areas, and several Japanese and other foreign-qualified lawyers. To achieve the firm’s fundamental principle that we aim to provide the highest quality legal services through mutual cooperation among all of the firm’s lawyers, the Bangkok Office has developed extensive experience through various transactions, matters and cases for over a decade, and provides high-quality legal advice based on such experience.
The Bangkok office provides a wide range of legal services to both local and international corporate clients in relation to business expansion in Thailand, including the establishment of subsidiaries, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, infrastructure and energy related matters, data protection, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), sustainability, compliance, labor law issues, crisis management, debt collection, anti-competition matters, and dispute resolutions. The office also provides Japanese, Thai and other multinational corporate clients with legal services on investment projects in neighboring countries, including Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines.
